The company Straža-IMO was established in 1996 when it split from the Straža Glass Factory. Its main activity was the manufacture of steel structures for the glass industry and the construction of glass furnaces, maintenance of industrial machinery, manufacture and installation of steel structures for industrial, storage and other purposes, and construction work. The key year was 2002. when Straža-IMO invested in the construction of its own production facilities and left the compound of the Straža Glass Factory. When our own premises were built, our production capacity increased and along with it the need for machines, equipment and human resources. From 2002 on, the goal of Straža-IMO was to profile ourselves as an industrial mechanical company. In this period, Straža-IMO invested in new welding machines and equipment every year. Desiring to develop and achieve greater value of our products, we successfully entered the demanding Austrian market with products for electric power supply facilities in 2014, and have remained a player ever since.
